Are you prepared for daylight savings? Daylight Savings begins on the second Sunday in March in which clocks are set ahead by one hour at 2 a.m. The shift to daylight saving time in March, in particular, can lead to reduced sleep quantity and quality. Because the switch to daylight saving time happens at a set time each year, you have the opportunity to prepare in advance, so that it’s less likely to harm your health! Here are some ways in which you can start preparing for Daylight Savings.
- Gradually Adjust Your Schedule
- Sleep Well Beforehand
- Consider Relaxation Techniques
- Set Your Cocks Before Bed
- Prioritize Daylight Exposure
- Take Precautions in Case of Sleep Disruption
- Upgrade Your Sleep Hygiene
- Eat a Healthy Diet
- Take a Short Nap if Necessary
